Freedom Dance

I hear a familiar tune coming from the radio.

I think I know this song, I do.

For some random reason I start tapping my foot.

I start dancing in all types of forms

Hip-Hop, Jazz,

Ballet, Modern,

African,

All types of dance

I call it my freedom dance

A type of dance that allows me to dance freely.

Without a care in the world.

No listening to teachers all day,

Telling me what to do or where to stand

It's my freedom dance

My own creation,

My own joy and my own happiness.

No one can mess with my freedom dance.
