Kindergarten:

• 1 pair of “Fiskars for Kids” blunt point scissors
• 1 boxes of 24 or more crayons to be contributed to a community classroom basket
• 4 boxes of colored markers, not thin
• 3 packs of multiple glue sticks to be contributed to a community classroom basket
• 1 plastic pocket folders (Please do not buy folders with vertical pockets.)
• A complete change of clothing (seasonal) including underwear & socks (Please put labeled clothing into a zip lock bag and also label the bag.)

All items should be labeled with your child's name.  Kindergartners do not need pillows, blankets or sheets for rest time. 

KENSINGTON CAMPUS

• A large backpack
• 20 pencils (#2 Yellow only)
• 1 large pink eraser
• 3 heavy duty pocket folders, labeled 1 for Homework, 1 for Seatwork and 1 for Spanish
• 1 (12 count) box of Magic markers - (washable and non-toxic) and 1 box of regular
• Crayola crayons (24 in a box)
• 3 large glue sticks
• 1 pair of child sized scissors
• Painting smock - a grown-up T-shirt
• 1 hard plastic pencil box, 8” x 5”
• For Music: 1 half-inch 3 ring hard cover binder (no paper), with child’s name printed along the spine, with a pencil pouch inside (which you buy separately) and 2 sharpened #2 pencils and a pencil sharpener (needed all year)

Some items will be collected the first week of school for communal use.

• 1 box of # 2 Pencils (sharpened)
• 1 ruler with inches and centimeters
• 1 regular eraser (not toy shaped)

• Art smock labeled with child’s name (an old shirt will do) and one old clean sock
• 1 60 or 90 min. tape for tape recorder for Spanish
• 1 index file box 3” x 5” and a packet of white index cards 3” x 5” for Spanish

• 1 pencil case (fabric or plastic, not a box) and 1 box of pencils (24 minimum)
• 1 package eraser caps and 2 good quality erasers
• 3 pads 3” by 3” Post-It notes
• 1 box of colored pencils (not more than 24 in a box)
• 1 box of crayons (box of 24) and 1 box of markers
• 1 pr. of scissors
• 1 glue stick and a 4 oz. bottle of white school glue
• 2 spiral notebooks
• 4 ballpoint or rollerball pens in different colors (no black)
• 2 highlighters
• 1 pkg. of ruled index cards (3” x 5”)

• 1 solar-powered, scientific calculator (such as a TI-30Xa or Casio fx-260 solar) Staples generally has a large availability in the weeks before school starts.

• 1 pkg. each (50 count) of 3” x 5” ruled index cards in the following colors: green, yellow, blue, orange, pink (salmon)
• 1 200 pack of white index cards
• 100 wooden pencils sharpened OR several mechanical pencils with a large quantity of lead
• 1 pkg. of black dry erase markers (low odor)
• 1 (ONE) school box or sleeve (NOT a large, thin, plastic sort, as they do not fit easily in desks.)
